Composer and pop singer Harry Nilsson was best-known for such hits as &"Everybody's Talkin'," &"Without You," &"Me and My Arrow," and &"Coconut." Over his career, Nilsson wrote songs for a number of groups including the Monkees (&"Cuddly Toys"), Three Dog Night (&"One"), and other groups. In film, Nilsson composed the score for Skidoo (1968). His version of &"Everybody's Talkin'" was used as the title track for Midnight Cowboy (1969). In 1971, Nilsson composed the score for the children's animated television film The Point, which provided the hit &"Me and My Arrow." A longtime friend of the Beatles, particularly John Lennon, Nilsson starred as Count Down opposite Ringo Starr in the musical horror spoof Son of Dracula (1974).
