This WB Pilot titled "Psych SIU" was in the booming vein of Law & Order, and X-Files, set in Portland about a group of young multi-dimentional cops, religious to spiritual, musical/poetic to rigidly educated, liberal to conservative, working the weird psych related cases of the Pacific Northwest city of Portland, Oregon. Psych SIU, Brent David Fraser, Alicia Coppola, John Carlin, Denis Arndt. Directed by Steve Gyllenhaal, father of Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal. A World Wide Web Premiere of Oscar Nominee, Maggie Gyllenhaal (Crazy Heart, The Dark Knight, The Secretary) in one of her very first filmed roles, never before seen, with Brent David Fraser. Directed by her father Steve Gyllenhaal (losing Isaiah, The Mentalist, Numb3rs) Producer Paul Stojanovich (RIP) "Cops" and "Cops in Portland" made his first dramatic TV attempt with this. Fraser and Paul became good friends and the only original 3/4" tape passed hands from Paul to Brent and was meant to go back after Brent used some material on his own demo reel, but Paul suffered a tragic death on a cliffside along the Oregon Coast, where he fell to his death. This show was previously unseen by anyone but the people involved and the WB Network. While filming Fraser was in his bands "Albion Moonlight" and "Will" and was also in the process of recording his own material for Sony and Columbia Records, which would later develop into the albums "Albion Moonlight and the Sea of troubles" and "U4EA - Every Lie" with Derek Frigo, which ...
