Carlos Bernard (born October 12, 1962) is an American actor, best known for his role as Tony Almeida in 24.
Bernard received a Master of Fine Arts degree from American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco after attending Illinois State University.

Bernard was born Carlos Bernard Papierski in Evanston, Illinois. He is of Polish and Spanish descent. His mother is originally from Madrid. He also speaks fluent Spanish, Russian, and German. he is the youngest of three brothers. He was raised in Chicago Illinois, and went to new Trier High School.
