Cameron Riley Monaghan (born August 16, 1993) is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Ian Gallagher in television series Shameless. Monaghan was born in Santa Monica, California, and was raised in Boca Raton, Florida, by his single mother Diane. He first appeared as Winthrop Paroo in the 2003 television movie The Music Man. In 2006, he appeared opposite Adam Sandler in Click as Kevin O'Doyle. He made a few guest appearances on Malcolm in the Middle as Dewey's classmate Chad. He currently plays the role of Ian Gallagher in the Showtime drama series Shameless. MORE
