In 2007, Boyce began his acting career at the age of eight, appearing in commercials for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, Fruit Loops, and Bisquick. He made his music video debut the following year in the Panic! at the Disco video for the song "That Green Gentleman" as a mini Ryan Ross, and later went on to appear in Ice Cube’s music video for "Ya’ll Know How I Am" and Willow Smith’s music video for "Whip My Hair."
