The story of Heidi Fleiss (Jamie-Lynn Sigler), known as "The Hollywood Madam", who was the daughter of a prominent Los Angeles doctor, and eventually becomes a prostitute for a well-known Los Angeles madame Alex (Brenda Fricker). Her operation was broken up by Los Angeles police in 1993 and she was eventually sent to prison for income tax evasion. The original title for the movie was called "Going Down: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss". Filmed on location in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
