Bokeem Woodbine (born April 13, 1973) is an American film and television actor.
Woodbine was born in Harlem, New York to an actress mother. He attended the prestigious Dalton School in New York before transferring to the also prestigious LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in the city. He was an Instrumental Music Major, and the lead singer for the band, Mazard.

Recently married, he and his wife are expecting their first child in early 2011. In his leisure time, he is an avid reader, and he has spoken for/supports Dr. Marshall's Street Soldiers center located in San Francisco that prepare and pay for urban youth to attend college.
