Bill Hanrahan

William A. "Bill" Hanrahan (September 14, 1918 – August 7, 1996), was an American radio and television announcer, perhaps best known as the "Voice of NBC News." Hanrahan's broadcasting career dated back to the 1940s, when he worked at WELI radio in New Haven, Connecticut , and later went to WNHC radio (now WYBC) where he was a newscaster. By 1950, he had joined the announcing staff of NBC in New York.
