Beverly Archer (born July 19, 1948) is an American actress. She was born in Oak Park, Illinois. She attended San Francisco State University and UC Santa Barbara where she majored in drama. Archer is perhaps best known for her roles as Iola Boylan on Mama's Family for four seasons and as Gunnery Sgt. Alva Bricker on Major Dad from 1990 until 1993.
