August Edmun Garrido, Jr. (born February 6, 1939) is a coach in NCAA Division I college baseball. As of June 12, 2011, Garrido has compiled a record of 1,817 wins, 825 losses, and 8 ties(.677). He is currently in his 43rd season of collegiate coaching. He has more wins than any other coach in NCAA Division I baseball history.
Garrido is currently the coach of the Longhorns of The University of Texas at Austin, where he has coached since 1997 and amassed a record of 666-301-1 (.688) prior to the 2012 campaign.
