Eastwood was born in Carmel, California, the daughter of swimsuit model Maggie Johnson and movie star and film director Clint Eastwood. She has a brother Kyle Eastwood. She attended Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California, and Stevenson School in Pebble Beach. Her parents separated when she was three years old. When she was eighteen, in 1990, Eastwood moved to Santa Barbara to study acting at the University of California. Eastwood landed some professional acting roles during her childhood and preadolescent years. She made her film debut at age seven in Bronco Billy and 1984 movie Tightrope. She has also worked as a runway and magazine model in Paris, posing for several European fashion magazines and Vogue (U.S. edition). In February of 2003, she posed nude for Playboy magazine.
