Alexander Tulloch MacQueen (born in Epsom, Surrey,) is an English actor. He has appeared on television, film and radio in the UK in productions such as Holby City, Hut 33, The Thick of It, and Keeping Mum.
MacQueen is perhaps best known for his recurring role as sarcastic Consultant Anaesthetist Keith Greene, appearing in 75 episodes of Holby City between May 2005 and July 2010. He has also appeared in The Thick of It as Julius Nicholson. He has also been in TV advertisements including ones for Specsavers, Dell, and Utterly Butterly.
MacQueen received a first in English literature at Durham University, and then studied for a M.Phil at Pembroke College, Cambridge, graduating in 1998. He was a member of the National Youth Theatre between 1992 and 1995. He then went on to train as a barrister at the Middle Temple.
