The charges were appealed and eventually overturned, but not before serving six days behind bars. As part of the plea bargain, Goldstein apologized for his action. He received three years’ probation for harassment of his third wife. Goldstein was arrested for shoplifting. In 2004 he worked at the Second Avenue Deli, owned by a friend, as a greeter.
