The Raiders entering 2012 lead in Super Bowl wins with a 3–2 record; the Broncos presently are 2–4 in Super Bowls; the Chiefs are 1–1 while the Chargers went winless in Super Bowl XXIX, their lone Super Bowl appearance. Entering 2013, the Raiders lead the division with a record of 430–363–11 and an overall playoff record of 25–18. The Broncos record is 418–375–10 with a playoff record of 18–17.
