Adrian Moore was a character on Nip/Tuck during its second season. He was the son of Ava Moore and the rival of Matt McNamara. The character was played by Seth Gabel. Adrian first appeared at the end of the episode where Matt McNamara started his relationship with Ava. After staying the night with Ava, Adrian makes his first appearance, nude, while Matt is eating breakfast. Adrian initially had a very hostile reaction to the relationship between Matt and his mother. One night, Ava and Matt invite themselves over to dinner at the McNamaras. Adrian tries to intimidate Matt's mother, Julia, by surprising her with his newfound vegan diet. Adrian then goes to Matt's room and tries to kiss him. Later in the evening Adrian lets slip of his mother's affair with Matt, beginning a long conflict between the two women. Adrian is a sociopath who also suffers from bipolar disorder and shows aspects of borderline personality disorder. He is also sexually ambiguous; he tries on two separate occasions to seduce Matt.
